Listing Standards
For a new project to be listed on SubWallet and Dotinsights’ Polkadot & Kusama Ecosystem Map (henceforth called “the Map”), it should meet the following criteria:
- Must have a functional website and/or GitHub. For projects falling into the “Media” category, at least one functional social media page is a must;
- Must have a clear and verifiable declaration that it operates within the Polkadot & Kusama Ecosystem (including but not limited to information on its website, social media page, activity within the ecosystem and partnership announcement with current ecosystem projects);
- Must be endorsed by at least one of the projects on the Map and/or other verified entities (see Appendix 1);
- Provide a representative from the project with whom we can establish open lines of communication for any clarifications.
*Note: In the next milestone, we aim to provide more context by implementing Trust Score based on a number of factors such as Team Background, Tractions & Progress, Open Source Level & Security Audit Availability (only applicable to certain project categories).
Delisting Policy
The SubWallet and Dotinsights team maintains the Map on a regular basis and reserves the right to delist a project without prior notice. Factors that could contribute to a delisting decision may include:
- The project has an inactive GitHub and/or social media page for 2 months;
- The project announces that it is leaving Polkadot & Kusama to other ecosystems or it has ceased operation within the ecosystem;
- The project and/or its associates is under investigation, on regulator watchlists, or is found guilty of a breach of laws, statutes, and regulations;
- Suspicious activities and/or extremely poor implementation;
- And any other factors that SubWallet & Dotinsights deems unsafe for its users.
If you want to make a claim to delist a project, please submit an issue on our open-source GitHub repo with concrete evidence. We will review and take an appropriate course of action case-by-case.
House Rules
- To submit your project, please fill in the online submission form.
- If you find a problem with the Map, feel free to submit an issue or create a PR on our open-source GitHub repo. The SubWallet and Dotinsights team will review the issues and PRs at our own discretion.
- DO NOT spam the request form or attempt to bribe our staff as this will result in the blacklisting of your project.
